I often feel like I'm very productive on the weekends, especially on Saturdays. I usually start with a big list of things of errands that need to get done. On Friday, I mailed the check for my last car payment. This means that I paid off a 36-month car loan in just 20 months. This was possible because I overpaid by a drastic amount every month, and then had a windfall that let me pay off the rest of it. Even without the windfall, it would have been paid off in 24 months. As you may be aware, I have no cell phone. I've never really had a need for one. I've been happy for years with my current combination of DSL and a land-line.
